The Role

At RSA we have a great new opportunity to lead a team of Finance Analysts within our Finance Centre of Excellence in Liverpool. You will join a thriving and fast paced team and be at the forefront of driving out key transformation initiatives.

Your main responsibilities will be:

* Leading and shaping financial and data analysis and compiling reports for various business purposes including:
* - Monitoring and management of business and financial performance
* - Input to strategic planning, operational planning and QBR processes
* - Internal and/or external audits, reports, forecasts and reviews
* - Production of financial reporting MI and accompanying commentary
* Development and maintenance of strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
* Driving and delivering key transformation initiatives aligned to the Company Strategy - Culture, Technology & Reporting.
* Communicating and liaising with business and finance colleagues to investigate performance, develop opportunities, maintain alignment and share information.
* Managing resources and priorities to enable gathering, validating and compiling quantitative and qualitative information and data, from multiple internal and/or external sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Leading the analysis of financial and business data and information using a variety of proven statistical and other analytical techniques to determine causality, significance, business impact or implications and developing advice or recommendations
* Contributing to a wide variety of projects and initiatives potentially including internal reviews, development initiatives and corporate transactions
* Driving continuous improvement in the development of financial models, forecasts and analytical processes to meet business needs.
* Continuously monitoring of, and reporting on, the external marketplace to feed into team processes and outputs

The Individual

Minimum skills and experience required

* Senior stakeholder management and engagement
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA fully qualified
* Experience in a large matrix organisation
* Previously managed and lead teams
* Proven history in delivering results
* Ability to adapt to ever changing requirements
* Excellent communications and influencing skills

The site is home to c.1000 RSA colleagues including our Finance Centre of Excellence that boasts 170+ Finance professionals and RSA Motability business which is run in partnership with The Motability charity. We also have teams on site from Personal Lines, HR, Audit, Global Risk Solutions, Claims and our Group Corporate Centre functions. The office has recently been refurbished and boasts a warm and friendly environment. The onsite team are dedicated to putting people at the heart of the business and have an onsite room dedicated to mindfulness.
