A global market leading manufacturing company based in Dudley are looking to recruit for a Credit Control Manager who is fluent in French to join their growing business.

As the Credit Control Manager, you will be responsible for
  • Providing a pro-active credit control management across global markets,with an annual turnover in excess of £150 million.
  • Management of credit control across all markets within the Group.
  • Setting and maintaining customer credit limits, ensuring all accounts are maintained within these.
  • Reduction of debtors in line with targets.
  • Preparation of monthly debt ageing summary and commentary.
  • Manage credit insurance policy
  • Building of internal relationships with colleagues across the group and maintaining these.
  • Building of relationships externally with customers and maintaining these.
  • Manage relationship and audits of banks who fund the debtor ledgers of the Group.
  • Dealing with queries and follow up with relevant internal departments to resolve these.
  • Posting of cash
  • To provide information and support for cash forecasting.
  • Opening of new accounts and reviewing of credit applications
  • Controlling commission payment to foreign agents
  • To drive process and efficiency improvements

You will report to the Group Finance Director, as a key member the Group Finance team you will be responsible for managing credit across all markets, achieving this by building and maintaining relationships with colleagues across the Group, externally with their Customers and Insurers.

The successful applicant will be highly experienced credit control and be able to demonstrate ability in managing the relationship between, the customer, the business, cash management and credit insurers, ideally gained across multiple countries and currencies.

You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence and resolve issues.

Having knowledge of JD Edwards or Similar ERP computer system would be an advantage, plus advanced level Microsoft Excel.

French language skills are essential, including fluency in speaking.
