TSA have been requested to recruit a critical role in and around the North of England for an Engineering Manager to operate within the Corporate Sector, carrying out various projects within high street businesses and corporate call centres.

This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's largest total FM providers worth over £70billion and have been operating for over 25 years. This role offers long term security with one of the key players in FM and as such will offer a competitive salary and an excellent benefit package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring the safe and continuous operation of the internal and external operations.
  • Managing a team of facilities engineers.
  • Supervising the maintenance team to carry out repairs, planned installations and maintenance work.
  • Providing professional guidance on maintenance and repair in line with Quality Assurance requirements.
  • Coordinating and liaising with the maintenance team to deliver electrical and mechanical maintenance.
  • Having to travel onto various sites across the North of England to manage the projects.
  • Completing all report sheets and test certificates as necessary and mark up any drawing alterations.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with published procedures.
  • The ability to utilise both in house and subcontractor resources to supervise essential repair works and general maintenance activities.

Skills and experience:
  • Having had previous experience in a similar Education role desirable, although not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Being able to adhere to H&S policies on site, ensuring that all work is undertaken in safe working conditions.
  • Relevant extensive M&E experience.
  • Having a deep understanding into the relationship between the several maintenance crafts.

Relevant Qualifications:
  • 18th Edition (or willing to do 18th edition).
  • Previous experience working in a similar Supervisory or Management role.
