Learning Support Assistant (LSA) | Outstanding Secondary School | Westminster

In the heart of Westminster a supportive, and forward-thinking Secondary School are on the hunt for multiple Learning Support Assistants (LSA). These are all September 2019 starts, full time and long-term roles.

The Head Teacher is keen to find proactive, and hardworking graduates who are keen to gain experience in a Secondary prior to further education.

The role of a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) can really vary on a day to day basis. You could be supporting in class for the half the morning then doing spot uniform checks followed by working working with a pupil on a 1:1 basis. The role is very fast paced, and requires someone who doesn't want to stand still, and in theory get bored!

·Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

·Supporting a range of SEN: Dyslexia, Learning & Behavior difficulties and mild Autism (ASD)

·Working alongside Subject Head of Departments, SEN Teachers and the Schools SENCO

·1:1 or group support - 11-16 years old (KS3 & KS4)

·Additional training provided throughout

·September 2019 start - Full Time - Long-Term role - Term Time Only

·£70 - £95 per day - Scope to increase after 12 working weeks

·Located in the Borough of Westminster - West London


·University degree is essential!

·You must be an outgoing, committed and a passionate individual

·Must be able to use your own initiative

·Good GCSEs and A Level required

·Strong understanding about SEN & Secondary Curriculum required


·Graded 'Outstanding' in latest Ofsted report

·Increasing Progress 8 score from year to year

·Brilliant HOD throughout each subject

·Additional training provided throughout - CPD opportunities

·Located in the Borough of Westminster - West London

·Good Tube Links - Circle, District and Victoria Line
