Health and Social Care Trainer - North of England

Part Time or Full Time

£25,000-£33,000 p/a (pro rata) - Depending on Experience

Due to continued growth throughout the company, we are looking to appoint an experienced Health and Social Care Trainer to join our team, covering the North of England - Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Brighouse and Mansfield.

The role would suit an experienced Trainer and although knowledge of the healthcare or Social Care sector is not essential this position may also be of interest to an experienced healthcare professional (for example Nurse or Senior Care Assistant) who is looking to work flexibly on either a full time or part time basis. We are looking for someone who can innovate, make recommendations and become our expert on all training related matters.

You will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of classroom based mandatory training sessions for new and existing Agency Workers, including but not limited to: Immediate Life Support, Manual Handling, Medications Administration, Breakaway, End of Life and Complex Care.

You will also be responsible for continuously developing our training curriculum, including the research, development and implementation of new training and/or awareness courses.

Prior experience and qualifications in a similar role would be preferred, but we will provide access to all necessary training and qualifications for the right candidate.

  • Prior experience in training delivery, preferably clinical skills training
  • A passion for high quality training and the professional development of Health and Social Care staff
  • Very strong communication and self-motivation skills
  • Experience of working autonomously

  • A teaching qualification: PTTLS or AET Level 3 or higher teaching qualification
  • Extensive and relevant vocational experience in a Health and Social Care setting
  • Expertise in Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Adult Health and Social Care Settings
  • Experience of e-learning platforms

This post requires frequent travel and is only open to applicants with a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle, with business insurance.
