Essential Skills / Experience:
WebAPI and/or WCF
Microsoft SQL Server 2012+ / T-SQL & Stored Procedures

Desired Skills / Experience:
Windows Forms
Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) / Git
Oracle PL-SQL

Role Description
My client is currently searching for a .Net Developer to join their IT department. The successful candidate will be working on automatic solutions for their warehouse, helping to analyse forecasts for their buying teams, and developing new features for their EPOS system, in-store applications and retail kiosks. They are looking for the candidate to be strongly data orientated, therefore strong SQL and database programming skills are essential.

The successful candidate will have:
*Strong analytical and programming skills across a number of platforms.
*The ability to understand requirements and change them into working code.
*The drive to continue to improve their own skills, taking advantage of provided training materials, while expanding their business knowledge.
*Experience using the Agile Development Process.
*Strong problem solving skills.
*Clear, professional communication skills

You will be required to:
*Develop, test and implement code to meet the department's high standards.
*Work to deadlines provided / escalate issues when needed
*Produce the minimum documentation and warrant suggested solutions are fit for purpose.
*Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports.
*Maintain programmes and correct defects.
*Be open to learning new technology such as Artificial Intelligence, automation or robotics
*Guarantee effective technical solution delivery
