Contract Project Manager / Engineer HVAC pref West Yorkshire c9 months c£250 day rate

Our client is a Yorkshire based company with traditional values and a high level of customer service and client support. They design and implement bespoke product cooling and conditioning systems, air conditioning and ventilation solutions throughout the UK and their many clients are leading food and drinks brands and blue-chip organisations.

With a proven track record of forward-thinking innovative achievements fuelling this market their projects range across all levels and sizes. At the core of their approach is providing a friendly, respectful, adaptable and reliable service with integrity.

They are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Engineer on a 9 month contract (possibly longer) responsible for managing projects from concept to handover whilst working within an existing established Contracts Team. As an experienced Project Manager /Engineer you will;

·Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and to ensure their expectation are met

·Produce all necessary H&S documentation for each project

·Co-ordinating the installation of Mechanical and Electrical services to customer sites

·Manage on site installation teams

·Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and specifications

·Negotiate and project manage suppliers and sub-contractors

Ideally you will have the following skills and Project Management experience:

·A minimum engineering qualification to HND or degree level (optional)

·Ideally HVAC and experience gained in a similar role essential

·Good interpersonal skills

·Developed IT skills (e.g. Excel, Word, MS Project etc.)

·Experience with Health and Safety

·The ability to plan, direct and control site activity

·Ability to control budgets and cash flow

·A full UK driving licence is essential as regular travel to client sites anywhere in the UK will be required
