Management Accountant job in Burnley | £25000-£30000 | Full study support | Permanent

Your new company
Your new company is a high growth manufacturing organisation in Burnley, who specialist in commercial and industrial products within the UK. With over 20 years experience and a member of Made in Britain, they offer state of the art, quality and bespoke products using components from well-established organisations and high street names. Their growth levels exceeded 30% over the last financial year, with turnover increasing every year since 2015. They are now seeking an experienced, ambitious Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent and full time basis.

Your new role
In your new role as Management Accountant, you will be reporting directly to the Operations Director. Your role will involve you being responsible for the general bookkeeping inclusive of the purchase ledger, sales ledger invoicing, chasing aged debt and completing monthly statement reconciliations. Alongside this, you will be processing GBP and USD payments, bank reconciliations, posting payroll journals and petty cash. You will also be responsible for producing the quarterly management accounts pack, inclusive of the P&L, balance sheet, budgeting and cashflow forecasting. However, if you haven't had full exposure to producing a full management accounts pack before, training and support will be provided. This is a full time, standalone finance role, working between the hours of 8:30am - 5:30pm with an 5pm finish on a Friday.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role, you will be a team player and have a flexible, adaptable working attitude. You should have experience working in a transactional role, where you have been responsible for all elements of bookkeeping. You will have had exposure to management accounts or have produced a full management accounts pack, with knowledge of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and budgeting. You will be a confident Excel user inclusive of vlookups & pivot tables, with the ability to pick up new, bespoke systems.
