Recruitment Direct UK Ltd require a Trainee Purchase Ledger Clerk for a role based in Stirling. This position requires a focussed and reliable person with good organisational skills with the ability to work as part of a team.

Purchase Ledger Role Responsibilities:
  • Dealing with invoices - maintenance, external, new vehicle and sundry
  • Ensuring all invoices are signed off by the relevant person before being entered into the system
  • Investigating any balances that have exceeded 30 days and chase bank details where appropriate
  • Ensuring all credit notes are either offset or requested back by cheque
  • Ensuring all paperwork is kept in appropriate files - this should be done daily
  • Checking all supplier statements which have items overdue and chase copy invoices where appropriate
  • Working closely with H&S to ensure adherence with policies and procedures

Purchase Ledger Skills:
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment on a variety of tasks
  • Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm, teamwork and professionalism
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite

Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00
  • 1 hour for lunch
