We are recruiting for a Claims Handler in the Blackburn area.

Role and responsibilities of Claims Handler:
  • Deal with telephone calls in a polite, courteous manner
  • Handle queries from clients and third parties
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Process paperwork
  • Chase up relevant parties either via telephone or email.
  • Take ownership of problems so ensure they are resolved
  • Transcribe telephone calls into call contact logs
  • Handle complaints within FSA guidelines

Experience preferred for Claims Handler
  • Good understanding of written and spoken English
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Good team working skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent PC skills
  • Previous customer service skills/call centre experience

Details of Claims Handler
  • Working hours - Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturday mornings until lunch time
  • This will be a permanent job after your probationary period has been worked.
  • Pay: £8.33 an hour
