Financial Reporting Analyst

Job Purpose
Peninsula is the leading UK's Employment Law and Health & Safety Specialists, providing an integral service to our 30,000+ Client's daily business operations.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing Finance department in Manchester. You will be assisting the Group Finance Team in the reporting of financial management information and provide general support for the wider finance function.

Job Overview
The Reporting Analyst will report to the Finance Systems team, also working closely with the IT Business Intelligence team. The aim of the role is to produce financial information and analysis, to assist with the maintenance of financial systems data, to ensure consistency and accuracy across the group.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
· Assist on the development and maintenance of financial systems data
· Assist in financial reporting procedures including budgeting, monthly accounts production and forecasting
· Data cleansing and housekeeping
· Assist with delivering creativity and improvements to the production of financial MI across the subsidiary companies
· Development of cost analysis reporting information
· Other tasks as required to support the Management Accounts function

What you Bring to the Team
· Ability to code in SQL and produce SSRS reports
· Ability to organise & prioritise workload in order to meet strict deadlines
· Be able to interpret basic financial data requirements
· Have a reasonable level of numeracy and M.S office ability
· Ability to communicate well and coordinate with other teams
· Able to work on your own initiative
