An exciting new opportunity has just arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join the Private Client team of a highly regarded and fast-growing West Country law firm. This role is based in the Sidmouth office.

The successful candidate will have 12 months+ experience as a Legal Secretary, with excellent IT skills and a working knowledge of case management systems. You will also need a typing speed of 60wpm, as the role will involve audio typing of documents and correspondence.
An understanding of Private Client matters is certainly desirable (Wills, LPAs, probate etc), but talented Legal Secretaries with experience in other areas of law will also certainly be considered seriously. Key to this role is a can-do attitude and a real ability to get along with people and provide an excellent service to the firm's clients.
Typical duties will include:
  • Audio typing
  • Opening files and file maintenance
  • Diary management
  • Client liaison in person, over the phone and via email
  • Other administrative duties as required, including post, photocopying, scanning etc
