Job title: Field Service & Validation Engineer

Location: Andover (Home Based) + substantial and prolonged travel.

Salary: £30,000-£32,000 + Excellent Benefits

A Field Service & Validation Engineer is required to join a well established business that designs and manufactures a range of systems used within the Medical Industry.

Due to an internal promotion we are looking to a recruit a new Field Service & Validation Engineer to travel to customer sites to install a range of complex electro-mechanical equipment.

This business is growing at an exponential rate with customers in the UK, Europe, Far East and North America. We need to replace the Field Service & Validation Engineer who has been promoted to ensure that the demands of the business are still met and results in satisfied customers.

What is the job?

The Field Service & Validation Engineer will work from home and spend most of their time out at customers sites whether that be in the UK or abroad.

Once the products have been delivered to the customers site it will be your job to travel to them and commission the equipment and ensure that it is fully working and has been tested.

You will be working on a range of capital decontamination and sterilisation equipment which will be used in a variety of environments, therefore you will have to program the equipment to ensure it fulfils its purpose.

As a Field Service & Validation Engineer you will be responsible for:

Installing and commissioning a range of new products and systems following their delivery.
Developing specific programmes for the customers use of equipment.
Completing validation testing documentation which will include issuing reports.
Training the customers is how to use the equipment in a correct and safe way.
What are we looking for?

To be suitable for the Field Service & Validation Engineer position we are looking for:

Strong experience working on a range of electro-mechanical equipment which includes electrical/control or process systems.
Someone who can be flexible, this is a demanding position with a huge amount of travel within the UK and abroad.
Experience working in a customer facing environment, the Validation Engineer will work directly with our customers.
Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
