Permanent Position or Temporary to Permanent Contract

Salary £25,000 to £28,000

39 hours per week

Monday to Friday

Our client based in Piddlehinton, Dorset is seeking a Document Controller to join them. This is a permanent position but at the clients' discretion, they will appoint either on a temp to perm or permanent basis.

Job Overview

Working in an established team you will be responsible control documentation coming in from third parties. You will be timely, accurate and efficient in preparation and management of documents. Important to control the numbering, sorting, filing, storing and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents produced for manufacturing departments. On a daily basis, you will maintain records and oversee document control for regulatory and legal compliance.

To create job folders containing relevant information to the build.
Control issue status, register changes to issue and store new customer data in a controlled manner.
To create internal process route cards and drawings in accordance with our quality standards.
Ensure all technical documents, such as reports, drawings, bill of materials, route cards are collected and registered.
Notify personnel of updated document versions and how to access them.
Print and distribute documents as necessary.
Review and maintain the accuracy of the records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date.
Manage the processes around documentation within the organisation.
Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation.
Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects when required.
To liaise with and distribute project related information with all levels of the project & manufacturing team.
Skills & Experience Required:

Experience within a similar, fast-paced industrial admin.
Confident user of Microsoft Office and different file types.
Ability to work in a methodical, organised and structured manner with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Candidates must hold:

Passport or Full Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance
2 years previous employment reference history
