We are working with a Further Education College based in Wigan to recruit for a Purchase Ledger Clerk.

This is a temporary cover position, initially for two weeks but may be extended.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience within the education sector whilst working with an excellent team at the college.

Role responsibilities
Scan invoices and data onto relevant systems
Verifying scanned invoices for accuracy
Enter and match invoices to purchase orders
Deal with telephone and email queries
Open and sort post
File invoices
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
Execute payment runs

The person & qualifications
Previous purchase ledger experience
A DBS dated within the last three months or registered on the update service
