If you want a rewarding job in which no two days are the same, then come and join us! We are a fun dynamic team who strive to provide a quality person centred service to some of the most marginalised people in society.

We are recruiting for a new full-time member of staff to join our Travelling Communities Support Team as we expand our service into Wiltshire. This project will support and advocate for Gypsy, Traveller, Roma and Liveaboard boating communities in Wiltshire; addressing inequality and promoting routes for engagement with specialist and mainstream service. Key to the role is building strong relationships with travelling communities and giving marginalised people a voice.

The role requires empathy and understanding as well as the ability to maintain clear boundaries and provide a safe environment. Some of our staff have lived experience, others have social care work experience, whilst some have just graduated from university and want to develop new skills. But what all the team members have in common is a strong value base and a natural affinity for people, who often have a range of complex needs.

With an ability to work on your own initiative as well as being part of a team who are committed to client involvement, you will be innovative and creative in your approach to meeting client need.

If you want to work for an organisation that genuinely helps others and are up for a new challenge or want to develop your existing skills, then we would love to hear from you. For an informal chat about the role, please contact Dawn Rivers, homeless services Manager on (phone number removed) or email (url removed)

This post requires an Enhanced DBS check prior to commencement in role.
