Finance Project Manager (FP&A Expense Transformation Change)

Working with M&GPrudential as a Finance Project Manager for an FP&A Expenses Transformation project means becoming part of a brand with a global reputation and an exciting vision: to become the best loved and most successful savings & investments business.

In this role you will play a pivotal part of our Finance Change team to help progress the clients FP&A Expense Transformation project.

To ensure your success in this role you need to have a strong experience of:

* Cost analysis & reporting from cost centre managers through to executives

* Cost Allocation in a complex multi segment, multi-company environment, preference life assurance and/or asset management

* Industry good practice in Cost Management and Expense Reporting

* End to end expense process knowledge, from Procure to Pay through Expense ledger recording to Cost Reporting, Cost Allocation and Legal Entity recharges

We expect a candidate to have the following qualities:

* Able to work with senior and executive stakeholders to articulate and shape an overall expenses vision and business solution that will deliver Expense Transformation

* A strong advocate to the business of the Expense Transformation vision and solution

* Confident and credible in communicating at all levels from Finance Executive Team/Board Audit Committee to teams members, and with Finance, IT and project colleagues

* Able to analyse and present information and proposals in a clear and unambiguous way

* Capability to work with project management staff to turn visions, ideas and concepts into deliverable plans and solutions with clear milestones and costs.

* Able to identify key risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies and work with project and programme management to articulate and manage (regular maintenance of PMO artefacts required)

* Project budgeting and planning experience

* Outcomes and benefits delivery tracking experience (financial and non-financial benefits)

* Experience of smooth closedown of project work, including support for the business acceptance sign-off process

* Excellent attention to detail and high quality of reporting outputs

* Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills

* Able to juggle across multiple work packages, co-ordinating own and others work to deliver to tight timescales and demanding stakeholders.

* Proactive self-starter, happy to take ownership of responsibilities, run meetings and workshops as required

* Effective collaborator and team worker

Essential Experience of :

* Ideally management accountant / reporting background

* End to end expenses process from procure to pay to reporting

* Ideally Insurance (Life and Pensions) experience

* Finance Transformation experience

Working knowledge of:

* Expense reporting industry best practice

* Finance Operations and Procurement processes

* Project methodologies, planning processes and techniques
