Are you a committed and innovative KS2 teacher looking for a full time class teacher post for the new academic year? Can you ensure relevant progress is made, and learning is accessible and enjoyable for children with additional learning needs including EAL (English as an additional language)?

We are looking for a Year 6 teacher for a full-time teaching post to cover an extended maternity leave for a school based on the Wirral. The role will start in September until December 2019.

The demand for teachers is always high: we expect you to be able to carry out each placement as if it were your own, permanent, class teaching role
Organise your classroom to create a positive teaching environment, liaising with relevant teaching assistants and support staff to develop effective working relationships with pupils and colleagues
Take on short, medium and long-term planning responsibilities for the class
Ensure all work and marking is done in line with the school's policy to facilitate pupil progress and development

Hold a qualification with, or leading to, UK Qualified Teacher Status (NQTs and overseas qualified teachers are welcome to apply)
Have a flexible, can-do approach
Ensure your CV covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible (all employment breaks must be explained)
Be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and full referencing process
Provide professional references to cover you for at least 12 months within the last 2 years
Have legal right to work in the UK
