Brighton

A Web Developer is needed for a 1-year fixed term contract to join a tech division of a non-tech company based in Brighton. We want to hear from smart, tech savvy and inquisitive developers who are keen to work with the latest technology, developing and perfecting code for high traffic business critical websites.

This is initially being offered as a 1-year fixed term contract which may roll into a permanent role at the end of the contract dependent on ongoing business requirements.

The Web Developer will enjoy working with a team of passionate, talented developers who are technology wizards and are always on the lookout to expand their tech knowledge. If you are looking for an office where you can talk code with other coders this is the place for you!

The role of the Web Developer will report into the Lead Developer and will work as part of a larger agile Digital Systems Delivery Team. The Web Developer will be responsible for writing code to deliver sustainable, effective online solutions, creating website user interfaces, implementing business logic, integrating with data sources and back end systems and participating in all aspects of creating digital experiences.

Essential Skills: Angular 7/8 Front End with .Net Core C# RESTful APIs. Alternative SPA framework experience will be considered for someone with a solid track record of delivering high spec projects.

To qualify. You should be a Web Developer / Senior Web Developer / Web Applications Developer / Front End Developer / Software Developer / Website Developer / Full Stack Developer or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • A solid demonstrable history of working in a similar development role;
  • Experience in working with Angular 2+ as a minimum requirement;
  • A solid grasp of working with TypeScript;
  • Experience of working in an agile environment;
  • A passion and enthusiasm for new technology and applying it where possible.
