Do you have experience in control systems within the FMCG industry?

Food automation system knowledge would be beneficial but not essential.

The role will require the following skills:
*To be able to design electrical schematics. AutoCAD experience would be advantageous but not essential
*PLC ladder logic programming experience. Preferably Allen Bradley, Siemens and/or Mitsubishi
*Full project experience from install to commissioning would be useful but again not essential
*Working within a hands-on environment and be able to help test and fault find on equipment prior to commissioning
*Follow good health and safety practices
*NVQ in Electrical Engineering

The company have an open office plan where Electrical and Mechanical designers work closely together (with a wall divide obviously) to achieve successful solutions to the ever-growing industry. With a high reputation within various industries, they have gone from strength to strength over the 28 years in business to become one of the leaders in all aspects of engineering. Specialising in the food industry where they design, manufacture and install various types of machinery such as Provers, Coolers, Ovens, Product Handling, Conveyor Systems and much more.

The company in question likes to promote from within and although clear career paths are not mapped out the current managers and MD started either on the shop floor or in the office. They promote a work hard play hard ethos.

The role will be approximately 60% office based and 40% on site commissioning. Generally, projects will consist of in office design, creating parts lists, electrical schematics, device layouts, software and HMI programs. Once the system has been installed the same engineer would follow to site to test and commission.

Contracted hours are 40hours per week 8 - 5 Monday to Thursday 8 - 2 on Fridays.

Paying £40600 with realistic yearly earnings of £50000+ with overtime and time spent working away.
