Commercial Insurance Broker - About the role

Quote and administer commercial and retail policies with a range of Insurers for direct clients. You will contribute to both the sales and administration requirements to ensure the delivery of an efficient and high-level service to customers while ensuring all relevant regulatory and legislative requirements are adhered to.

Commercial Insurance Broker - Key duties

Providing quotations for the insurance products we offer by taking all of the necessary information from the customer and recording it on the system.

Where instructed by the customer issue insurance documents in accordance with the quotation provided and the insurers requirements. Ensure that the insurance documentation is correct prior to its release.

Dealing with new business quotations, processing renewals, processing changes of vehicle, complaints and dealing with general enquiries.

Commercial Insurance Broker - Key requirements

Technical knowledge of the Commercial Insurance products; understanding of the coverage provisions, exclusions and conditions of the policy wordings.

An understanding of the legal principles of insurance and insurance contracts.

Educated to GCSE level and will be CII qualified or looking to obtain the qualification

Articulate and numerate, with good data entry skills

Significant focus on delivery of a first-class customer experience.

Works with a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.

Excellent communication skills, written and oral

Good knowledge of Windows based systems
