Product Owner

A fast growing and dynamic global software company with offices in the USA, Australia and the UK are looking to recruit a Product Owner to work in their vibrant European head office in Brighton town centre. The platform they manage provides services for 2 million customers globally and has been extremely successful for the last 10 years.

Due to continued growth of the European business, this company are looking for a Product Owner to join their Global Product team. The Product Owner will strive to ensure the best possible product outcomes for both customers and the business. As a Product Owner you are responsible for Developing and articulating a clear vision and direction for your product team.

Working closely with the Development team, this role will see you:
  • Inspire and motivate your product team through vision, collaboration and expertise.
  • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally. A go-to for knowledge relating to customers, the product and the industry.
  • An understanding of when a problem is solved and how to measure success.
  • Build and frequently call upon a network of customer and internal contacts for insights, feedback and validation of product concepts and decisions.
  • Use data and technology to support product decisions.
  • Confidently explain reasoning for product direction to all levels of stakeholders.
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories and themes to ensure work focuses on maximizing value and alignment with company strategy.
  • Ownership and management of the product backlog.
  • Proactively keep informed with industry/technology trends and competitor offerings.
  • Maximise the value of your products brings to both customers and the business.

Knowledge & Experience required:
  • Proven experience in a Product Management/Owner role with in an agile software environment
  • A genuine interest in and broad understanding of technology
  • Experience working with SaaS products
  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum Environment
