Our client is an established cosmetic retailer undergoing a total global digital transformation after acquiring a significant amount of investment, re-imagining themselves as a brand for tomorrow

Role and Responsibilities

As Local Social Media Community Manager you will support the General Manager and represent the company daily, as you build up a social presence in London

The Social Media Community Manager will:
  • Embody the brand and build a social presence
  • Strategize and design meaningful campaigns
  • Drive customer engagement
  • Engage and manage local agencies such as PR, events and communications
  • Drive ideas through emerging technologies
  • Manage events
  • Oversee local social activation team, keeping the department on task, aligned to global strategy and exceeding KPIs
  • Drive engagement with and traffic to your local store
  • Build a local social media presence targeting urban millennials in London

This is a permanent position probably based in London

The successful candidate will have a passion for their community, city, travel and human connection.

The Social Media Community Manager will:
  • Possess proven ability to build a social media community and interact with/manage influencers
  • Have extensive experience with social media strategies which are goals driven.
  • Possess outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • Be analytical - ask the right questions and have an entrepreneurial nature with intelligent customer service approach
  • Possess a creative personality and a passion for story-telling.
  • Have a marketing background ideally within retail, and be passionate about the future of retail
  • Understand the lifestyle of a typical London Millennial
  • Have experience managing a beauty/cosmetic brand social media
