I am seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a 6-month contract on the outskirts of Peterborough, you will assist a small team in clearing a backlog, working closely with the line manager to support the purchase ledger process. You will provide an efficient service and provide accurate financial information.

Key tasks will include;

Matching, checking and coding invoices.

VAT Calculations

Making payments via BACS and cheques

Processing staff expenses

Setting up new supplier accounts

Reconciliation of supplier statements

Filing invoices

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience in working within a PL team

Good team working ethic

Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of Sage or BACS

Able to work to tight deadlines

Able to commit for full 6 month contract
