This is an opportunity for a Bid Manager to join a Tier One staff-orientated Financial Services firm in Manchester City Centre.

The client is a global financial services, with an office in Manchester City Centre, and is looking for a Bid Manager with ambitious for a long term career in bids. The client is progressive in its approach and it sees the value in having teams composed of staff with a diversity of different sector experience. A multinational national industry leader, this client is looking for a candidate with experience at either a Bid Manager or Senior Executive level.


To manage the bid qualification (bid go / no go) process for new opportunities
Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery
Preparing and reviewing the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all services are included in the final price to the customer
Risk tracking and management throughout the bid process
Contributing to the written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation (such as preparation of a management summary)
Manage the bid budget
Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids
Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues
Arrange all post bid reviews with customers, post contract award


Experience in managing a bids department and executing bid strategy
Must be comfortable working at CEO / Director Level (internal and external customers).
Content and Communication skills, with exceptionally good English and able to write persuasively
Dedicated to exceeding the customer's expectations
Commitment to carrying oneself with the highest level of integrity
