Your Day-to-Day...
•Be responsible for the co-ordination, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual Patient programs of care. With a focus on risk assessment and risk management strategies, ensuring that the requirements of the Care Program Approach are met in a timely manner
•Report any ill health amongst Patients and make requests for RC/GP/Professional visits where necessary
•Support empowerment of Patients having regard for their dignity rights whilst maintaining professional responsibility for individuals in our care
•Ensure that individual care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with Patient, Relatives and other Health Care Professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines
•Administer prescribed medicines in accordance with Healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines.

You are...
•Open, compassionate, honest & resilient
•Newly Qualified or Experienced RMN with a current Pin Number
•Capable to maintain documentation and undertake audits
•Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 & have an understanding of latest nursing practices
•Able to deputise in a clinical lead role

Location Information

Located in Kings Norton, Birmingham, Cygnet Wast Hills is an award winning Outstanding CQC rated specialist autism hospital, which provides assessment and treatment for up to 25 men and women with autism, who are also living with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Cygnet Wast Hills is an impressive period property, set in six acres of gardens and formerly part of the Cadbury estate. The service consists of three autism provisions, which provide different levels of support depending on the individual.

Within Cygnet Wast Hills there are many good sized living areas and people can choose to use a gender specific lounge or be in mixed company. Other facilities include two on site sensory rooms, a computer room and two activity rooms. In addition there is a life skills kitchen where people are supported to make their own drinks and prepare food. The people we support at Wast Hills also have access to extensive outside space.

Cygnet Wast Hills has received the Autism Accreditation from the National Autistic Society (NAS)
