Tradewind are working alongside a supportive, inclusive "Good" rated academy in Biggleswade, seeking a Humanities teacher to start in September and continue for the rest of the academic year, with the opportunity of a permanent contract for the right teacher. Due to flexibility within the department, the school is able to interview specialists in Geography, History or Religious Education.

Our client has a good reputation in the local community and high staff retention, aided by a strong SLT and teacher-led governing body who are committed to the school's continued improvement. Student progress, attainment and attendance have improved dramatically under this management, who prioritise supporting all teaching staff to continually improve their practice.

The school are now seeking a Humanities teacher who is:

*Committed to safeguarding and able to uphold the school's high standard of care for their pupils

This role will entail teaching at least two Humanities subjects at Key Stage 3 and 4, and one at A-Level- this could be History, Geography, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Psychology or Sociology. The school offers courses in all of the above to their burgeoning Sixth Form cohort and enjoys excellent uptake within the Humanities department at A-Level, as well as strong academic results.

The school is located in Biggleswade with onsite parking, easy access to the A1 and a very local train station.

To be considered for this role you will need:
-UK QTS, or the equivalent from overseas with NARIC certification
-Previous experience of teaching within the UK
-A degree in your specialist subject

You will need to provide

-A complete work history spanning 10 years where applicable
