Role Purpose

To ensure the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices & staff expenses, reconciliation of multi-currency bank accounts and production of Sales Invoices. As Accounts Assistant you will be an integral part of our growing Transactional Team within our Finance division.

  • Process complex supplier invoices across multiple legal entities
  • Chase Department Heads for approvals
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Production of payment runs
  • Processing employee expenses completing usual checks for receipts coding, VAT & Policy Violations
  • Reconciliation of multiple currency bank accounts.
  • Production of Sales invoices
  • Posting and allocation of payments and receipts
  • Creating Journal Entries & uploading into finance system
  • Posting internal transfers
  • Request Foreign currency amounts to cover payments due to suppliers
  • Assist with the monthly preparation of Accruals & Prepayments
  • Corporate Credit Card maintenance
  • Expenses analysis
  • Assist with ongoing system and process development projects

Skills and Abilities:
  • AAT qualified or currently studying level 3 or above
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong reconciliation experience
  • Understanding of VAT complexities
  • Can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Comfortable working in an ever-evolving environment resulting in continual change
  • Proficient user of MS Office Outlook and Excel
