The Company

Our client is a market leader in their niche engineering market. Due to internal restructure there are now looking to recruit a Senior Stock Controller.

The Role:
  • Develop and deliver effective stock control strategies and performance for the business.
  • These will help to deliver improvement, in line with company strategy and targets, maximising company profit through stock availability.
  • Liaise with suppliers about expediting and pricing of goods and update the system accordingly.
  • Liaise with staff reference delivery and storage conditions.
  • Co-ordinate and oversee inventory audits across the business.
  • Create weekly and daily stock orders for all items required to assist with production.
  • Review of departmental procedures to promote best practice.

The Person
  • Must have previous experience in similar role.
  • Stock control experience is essential.
  • Exceptional time management skill, a forward thinker with the capability to plan ahead with strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with the aptitude to think on your feet and resolve issues that may arise.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills, being proficient with applications such as MS office.
  • Previous experience of managing/supervising a team of warehouse personnel.
