An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Finance Assistant in our friendly, vibrant recruitment practice based in Cardiff City Centre. Reporting to the Sales Director, the role will require 16-20 hours per week.

Duties:

Prepare and issue invoices / Applications for Payment as appropriate
Raise cheques / BACS transfers and manage payment of suppliers
Posting and processing Supplier invoices
Processing banks receipts and payments
Process employee expenses applications
Set up monthly reports for fee earning staff and ensure they are always up to date
Assist the with the preparation of Directors expenses
Accurate data entry, filing and record keeping
Other ad hoc duties as requested by the director

Relevant skills and knowledge:

Minimum 5 years Accounts and Trial Balance experience essential
Good IT skills, Microsoft Excel (formulas and processing data), Word and Outlook.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Organisational skills
Able to complete tasks within deadlines
Able to work proactively on own initiative and as part of a small team

Job Type: Part-time 2/3 days PW
