Robert Half are partnering with an expanding business in Kettering to recruit for an ambitious accounts assistant that wants to progress and develop their finance knowledge

The Role

Working in a vibrant team, the role of accounts assistant will include -
  • Assist in the management of all aspects of sales and purchase ledger processes
  • Bank, credit card and petty cash reconciliations
  • Process journals onto the nominal ledger
  • Liaise with the Management Accounts team in order to assist them in the production of accurate monthly/periodic reports
  • Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns, EC Sales Lists and Intrastat returns
  • Ad Hoc Projects

Experience Required:
  • Recent experience preferably in an accounts department
  • To work well within a team or on your own
  • Able to work to a high degree of accuracy

Salary and Benefits

The successful finance assistant will receive a salary of £18000 - £22000, full study support and an excellent opportunity for progression and development.
