Our client, a premier large firm based in the Ipswich Town Centre, are looking to recruit a professional Finance Assistant to join their team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with experience in a similar role, potentially gained from an apprenticeship or a year in the finance industry.

This role will enable someone to gain some invaluable experience and exposure in an award-winning business which boasts an exceptional workplace culture. We are confident this role would be a great role to enter and would give you a pathway to progress within the firm.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Effectively receive and process all payments and receipts for client and office accounts.
  • Accurately carry out CHAPS, BACS, International Payments and Inter Account Transfers within agreed time limits.
  • Efficiently check and process bills
  • Successfully resolve queries from Management, Secretaries, Clients and Suppliers as required.
  • Assist and support other team members in other duties as required.
  • Other administrative duties as required.
  • Ensuring that own knowledge and skills are kept up to date, requesting training where necessary

Skills & Experience Required:
  • Proven experience in a finance related position gained from a professional environment, or AAT qualified
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good organisation and administrative skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise.
  • Excellent communication skills
