My client, a leading UK organisation, is looking to hire an experienced Senior Service Delivery Manager to sit as the right hand man/woman to the Head of Service Delivery, over-seeing a team of up to twenty Service Delivery professionals and technical specialists.

Operating in an ITIL environment, you will directly manage a team of up to five configuration management specialists, as well as look after large elements of outsourced service management, covering incident, problem, change, continuity, service and suppliers/vendors.

To be successful in this role you will need:

* In-depth experience as a Senior Service Delivery Manager, gained in large scale, complex distributed environments

* Extensive experience operating in an outsourced service management model - ESSENTIAL

* Detailed experience of managing external vendors and suppliers in complex environments

* Extensive experience in service management, change management and continuity management

* Experience in and understanding of Software Asset Management (SAM)

* Complete expertise in ITIL environments - Service Desk, Service Transition, Problem, Incident and Change Management

* Understanding of DevOps/Cloud environments

* Direct team management experience - preferably within Configuration Management

* SLA Performance Management experience

* Strong technical background - ability to converse effectively with technical teams

* Detailed stakeholder management expertise
