Our Client is a global legal firm, specialising in risk, regulatory and M&A strategy. The firm is a trusted partner and a recognised world leader in the areas of litigation, arbitration, competition and investigations.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Business Change Manager for a 6 Month contract based in Manchester

Purpose of the Role:

Our Client is introducing new technologies and product development approaches into the firm. The Business Change Manager will support the Change Management team to embed business, process and people change within the firm. The role will report to the Global Head of Innovation Architecture and provide support to the "Transform" workstream. The priority for this role is to roll out the new Target Operating Model in the Transform layer and communicate the Product Development Lifecycle methodology to the firm.

As a Business Change Manager you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

The role will be responsible for:

Developing an approach to introduce new technology products and ways of working into the firm.
Working with the PPSG, ePMO, Product and Technology Teams to implement the new Target Operating Model
Identifying deployment approaches that successfully embed business, process and people changes with a focus on proving, training, preparing and transitioning;
Developing internal and external communication plans that align to the overarching digital strategy to ensure users appreciate and understand the value and impact of specific changes;
Identifying, shaping and delivering on requirements for structural or organisational change associated with the above;Critical success factors will include:

identification, engagement and management of key stakeholders who will be crucial to the successful adoption of the Product Development Lifecycle, new technologies and ways of working.
presenting clear targeted communications to all key partners, to support business readiness and promote engagement in delivery;
development of key messaging for use internally and externally; working with the global comms team and adopting the firmwide comms channels;
supporting the alignment of our own digital transformation agenda with the external, client-facing digital initiative;
working collaboratively with the Global Technology and Innovation teams
assisting with operational communications and messaging for the Global Technology function.Key Requirements

Proven ability to:

Develop and implement business change associated with a new target operating model
think strategically and drive change in a partnership structure, identifying and influencing key stakeholders; operate within the challenges of a partnership culture;
work transparently, collaboratively and iteratively, adopting modern product-based approaches - be an advocate of championing user needs and proving things work;
use communication to change behaviours and improve delivery, through persuasion, trial and challenge - with focus on continuous improvement;
organise and coordinate complex requirements into meaningful and relevant communications that deliver wide reaching and impactful results;
contribute strategically to broader communications programme- which reaches multi-lingual audiences within a complex matrix structure and across geographical and cultural borders;
establish relationships with external press and trade journals;
Written skills and ability to translate complex material into simple English.
