Client Portfolio Manager - Hatfield

AJ Chambers are working with a leading regional firm with multiple office, who have a fantastic opportunity for a Fully Qualified Accountant to join as a Client Portfolio Manager at their Hatfield office this role would come with an established client base from a variety of industry sectors, and continuous growth, making it an exciting time to join the organisation.

The successful candidate will be expected to:
  • Managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Building relationships and liaise confidently with clients, giving excellent client service and growing a personal portfolio.
  • Reporting directly to the partners.
  • Limited Company Statutory Accounts / Audits for a wide range of clients.
  • Managing audits.
  • Involvement in carrying out audits of a diverse range of businesses.
  • Personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Management Accounts, cashflow / budgets and business development.
  • Discussing and resolving accounts queries with clients.
  • Supervising and training of junior members of staff.
  • Knowledge of Iris, Xero, Excel and Word would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will have a proactive approach to their role, which offers a high degree of autonomy, with excellent opportunities for growth and leadership for those able to develop the portfolio and have the opportunity to progress as a practice manager.
