We are an award-winning financial services investment company based in Alton who are seeking an Investment Analyst and Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent entry level position for a candidate who is looking to progress their career within financial services and looking for professional development within a respected and regulated organisation.

Working 9am to 5pm Mon to Fri, we can offer a competitive salary of up to £23K (depending on experience) plus free parking, annual discretionary bonus, excellent training and career progression, professional study support, pension and 20.5 days holiday (plus bank holidays and additional time off at Christmas).

The role of the Investment Analyst and Administrator is to complete day-to-day client related investment analysis forming part of the overall advice process and assist the other internal functions in completion of their responsibilities.

The main duties will be: -
  • Producing annual review packs, writing fund reviews and performance comparisons to a competent standard and within agreed turnaround times. This will also include bespoke client related investment and performance analysis.
  • Completing Bulk Fund Switches and Corporate Actions. This includes issuing of letters, chasing responses and processing switches.
  • Responsibility for maintaining and managing the client hub, including answering any client queries relation to the hub via telephone and email.
  • Checking Unit Prices
  • Updating Key Investment Information Documents and Certificates of Deposits
  • Assisting Senior Research Analyst in production of information for the Investment Committee.
  • To maintain Continued Professional Development in line with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Additional duties where required.

In order to be considered for the Investment Analyst and Administrator role, you will be PC literate, highly accurate, a fast learner, have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), possess strong numeracy skills and the ability to work within policies and procedure within a regulated environment. Office experience is highly appealing; however, we will consider recent university and college leavers with the right skillset, the ability to learn and work well within a team who would like to pursue a role within the financial services sector.
