Events Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 basic, £70,000 - £85,000 OTE

Our client is a well respected and growing company looking for a strong Events Manager, who is keen to start their next challenge in a fast paced and rewarding sector.

Job Requirements
  • Managing existing business
  • Development of new business via cold calling, referral, press, exhibitions, industry functions, LinkedIn, social media
  • Assisting in developing the strategy of sales campaigns - direct marketing, telesales, advertising and press campaigns
  • Industry figure - to be familiar with the market and able to converse in an appropriate fashion.
  • To attend relevant exhibitions and industry functions.
  • Executing industry and customer research in pursuit of new business opportunities.
  • Customer care - ensuring all existing clients are kept informed and enthusiastic about their investment. Solving any problems a client may have
  • Cross fertilisation of information to other members of the project e.g. leads for Delegate Managers, industry issues arising for Conference Managers
  • Assisting in the creation and development of suplier and Delegate questionnaires
  • Full understanding of the appointment system
  • Mentoring new Sales Managers
  • Creating and implementing an effective re-booking campaign
  • Assisting Operations Managers with exhibitor/executive tasks e.g. executive selections, chasing in difficult debtors.
  • Awareness of budgets overall and specific to sales.
