Are you experienced in payroll and ideally have experience with the pension/financial services sector OR a desire to move into this industry sector?

Do you have strong interpersonal & communication skills as well as the desire to improve payroll standards and develop new procedures and working practices?

This prestigious organisation currently has an opportunity to join them as a Payroller Administrator at their Middlesbrough location to complete basic and routine payroll tasks and activities to assist and provide support to the pensions Payroll function and a summary of duties involved appear below:-

Carry out basic calculations and run payrolls

Completion of payroll processes relating to data entry tasks and activities

Carry out standard payroll support tasks

Track payroll processing

Assist senior colleagues with more complex and advanced payroll tasks and standard reports.

To carry out standard and non-standard payroll tasks.

Build and maintain good relationships with clients, colleagues and within the company

Communicate clearly with Pensions Administration team members, including routine interactions regarding payroll and pensioner queries.

Act as main point of contact for scheme administration teams

Identifying errors and escalating issues where appropriate

Support the team with new staff members and provide training to less experienced payroll team members, checking and validating their work to ensure accuracy
