CRM Analyst - Milton Keynes

Winterhalter are currently seeking an experienced CRM Analyst to join our team. This exciting new role is important in the context of the development and execution of Winterhalter's strategy to learn more about customer's needs and behaviours in order to strengthen customer relationships and develop sales opportunities.

Role OverviewThis role is based from our Head office in Knowlhill in Milton Keynes and you will be collaborating with colleagues in our Sales, Service and Marketing teams to contribute to the development of the CRM Strategy, ensure that our database of customer information is accurate and that the business is able to utilize this data for maximum impact.

You will be supporting colleagues and customers across all brands within the Winterhalter Group including: Winterhalter, Classeq, Eauvation, Ice-omatic and our chemicals division.

Main accountabilitiesWorking closely with Business Development colleagues across the organisation to:
  • Collate accurate, relevant data for current and potential customers such including the development and maintenance of customer hierarchies for key accounts in SAP.
  • Maintain prices, conditions, materials & customer master data in SAP.
  • Creation of maps and territories using Geomarketing software.
  • Track activity and explore untapped opportunities to improve customer retention and loyalty.
  • Support Business Development Managers with coordination of lead follow up such as visit / schedule planning.
  • Track the sales pipeline and monitor open quotes.
  • Evaluate lost opportunities and identify prospects to broaden the product and service profile of existing customers.
  • Determine new revenue channels in the market
  • Customer Journey Mapping - analysing touch points within the organisation and maximising commercial opportunities.
  • Seek opportunities to increase sales and decrease costs in line with managing existing customer accounts.
  • Measure the effectiveness of current sales and service initiatives and identify opportunities to tailor customer experience
  • Ensure the CRM database is segmented effectively for targeted marketing activities.

As our CRM analyst you will also responsible for championing CRM excellence within the organisation, which will include training new and existing colleagues in the effective use of in-house CRM software. You will be working closely with all departments to ensure the CRM works effectively for all aspects of the company.

Success in this role relies on continuous development of extensive customer and product knowledge in order to anticipate customer's needs and provide expert advice in matters of dish-washing technology by phone and email as required. Another ongoing challenge will be building and maintaining commercial awareness of relevant markets; including our customers, competitors, distributors and consultants throughout the catering industry.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
  • At least 2 years experience in a CRM focused role
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Demonstrable analytical skills
  • Ability to cultivate professional relationships across the business in order to continuously develop commercial acumen.

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Working knowledge of Geomarketing software
  • Experience in B2B Marketing
  • Experience of the catering industry

  • Able to manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Able to manage the demands of numerous tasks.
