Exciting Finance assistant opportunity at a growing business on the outskirts of Chester. This business are looking for a progressive, dynamic candidate to grow with their business.

Client Details

This is a growing manufacturing business based in the Chester area. Due to a huge period of growth the team is massively expanding in the upcoming months. They are based in modern offices with an upbeat vibe.

Description

This Finance assistant role will include the following duties:
  • Check invoices received, allocate nominal codes and obtain delegated signatures for authorisation
  • Register invoices onto the finance system Sage against orders & Grn's resolving any differences against prices or quantities
  • Check employee expense claims against receipts and that all claims are valid
  • Reconcile supplier statements and deal with any issues or queries on statements or on the supplier ledgers
  • Highlight invoices due for payment, obtain authorisation and initiate payment runs.
  • Set payment runs up on the banking system
  • Reconcile bank statements and allocate all payments, direct debits against supplier ledgers
  • Reconciliation of company credit card statements
  • Dealing with Multi currency (Euros)
  • Processing Expenses
  • Posting accruals

Profile

The successful candidate will require the following criteria:
  • Previous experience in purchase ledger or a similar role
  • Great organisation skills
  • SAGE experience would be advantageous
  • Be available immediately or at short notice
