Finance Clerk - Northumberland - £20,000pa

Your new company
An established business based in Northumberland are looking to recruit a Finance Clerk to join their finance team, to manage and maintain the accounts payable function.

Your new role
You will be responsible for processing and matching invoices with goods received notes, reconciliation of supplier statements and making payments to suppliers, including the preparation of the monthly BACS transaction submissions. You will also review individual supplier accounts for unmatched payments and unusual items and pay foreign invoices.

Other Duties will include:
* Open, file, prioritise and distribute post for the Finance department.
* File and archive purchase ledger invoices accordingly.
* Liaise with suppliers and identify potential product or service supply issues on a timely basis.
* Raise miscellaneous invoices and post
* Cover for cashier
* Employee expenses processing

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience within accounts payable is an advantage for this role, along with excellent communications skills, ability to work under pressure and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

What you'll get in return
The working hours are 8.30-4.30pm or 9-5pm Monday to Friday with free parking and 25 days holidays + Stats.
