Our client is on the lookout for a standout CI/Process Engineer to join the Management team at their flagship Lutterworth plant. Process/CI Engineer

Salary :-£45,000 plus 10% bonus and additional benefits

Development :-You will receive ongoing training and development to further your career. Heavy investment in state-of-the-art technology means that you will be working in the company's UK primary flagship plant.

Job Description

You will need to drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the site by working closely with the plant manager on the overall site/operations strategy. This role is a key interface between all operational team to ensure factory consistency and achievement of CI targets. The role has lots of development potential for the right candidate to move their career forward

Key Responsibilities

* Responsible for all manufacturing improvement activities across the site

* Ensure appropriate resources and time are available for the application of a systematic approach to 'Improvement workshops' and Kaizen eventsMonitor plant operational efficiency and reliability identifying areas of under-performance and implement plans to deliver operational improvements

* Ensure that a uniform approach to continuous improvement is implemented across shifts

* Measurement and reporting on initiatives implemented

* Mentoring/coaching of leadership team in process/lean tools

* Offer technical support to the manufacturing processes and control systems

* Develop processes from initial conception through to full production modeling

* Produce process control plans and process flow diagrams/plans

* Integration of engineering changes to the manufacturing processes

Experience & Skills Required

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

* Graduate calibre with broad experience of manufacturing operations/background in Continuous Improvement

* Relevant IOSH Safety Training

* Good understanding of 5S Lean/6 Sigma tools

What's on Offer

Our Client is offering a salary of up to £45,000 plus 10% bonus and additional benefits. You will be working in the Company's UK flagship plant and will receive ongoing training and development to further your career.

This is a permanent role, working days (40hrs per week) - Monday to Friday
