Trainee Production Engineer - Loads of Training and Development -
Both in house and Accredited Courses - Structured Progression Routes - Lots of Support & Direction

Based Bedfordshire / Hertfordshire - Immediate Start

CNC Machining / Assembly Production Facility

Salary upto £25k + 25 Days Holiday + Profit related Bonus (that has paid out for the last 5 years) + Flexible Working & Other Benefits

This global OEM who have a significant presence in a number of markets from medical devices, power generation, aerospace and manufacturing have recently undergone a process of bringing more of its component manufacturing back in house and have invested nearly £1m in new capex machinery. As a result they are looking for a production engineer to support the increased work.

- Motivated, ambitious and a real desire to create or progress their career - there is lots of training and development - the opportunities are almost limitless.
- CNC Milling background - setting and Operating, and ideally some programming experience.
- Worked with a variety of materials, from steels and aluminium to castings and exotic alloys.

Is this your Perfect Role?
- No two days are the same!
- The role is an all encompassing production engineering role and the role will include, but not be limited to:
- Cell and process flow layouts.
- Designing of Jigs, fixtures, tooling and other associated equipment needed for the fitters.
- Operational planning - this could be in the CNC machine shop or the assembly process.
- Component manufacture - what is the best, most cost effective way of manufacturing the part.
- Continuous Improvement projects - these could be basic or more involved.
- CNC Programming - on line or off line - controls include Fanuc, Siemens and Mazatrol.
- Engineering support on the shop floor for the fitters - being a link between the design and the manufacturing.
