Product Experience Assistant
Altham, near Burnley
£18K to £25K depending on experience
Ideal Recruit are currently looking for a Product Experience Assistant to join our clients team based in Altham.
KEY OBJECTIVES
Assist the Quality & Compliance Manager in developing and maintaining a product experience strategy that contributes to the on-going success of my client, whilst ensuring an efficient and co-operative working environment, consistent standards, minimal costs, optimum productivity and strong due diligence.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensures the effective collection, enrichment and distribution of production data within the organisation
* Manages a catalogue of existing products and streamlines the on boarding of new products
* Improves the quality and consistency of product data across all sales and marketing channels.
* Provides members with the data they need to deliver a compelling product experience and drive customer service.
* Understands the importance of product data quality on sales and marketing channels like ecommerce and print.
* Managing technical, usage, and media data on all products purchased by members through the terms.
* Collects product data from various sources including: Suppliers (brand owners, manufacturers, distributors, and importers) the internet, product packaging, and other marketing materials. Third-party databases such as Erudus. Existing Business and Member databases
* Collaborates with internal teams and members to produce high quality product data.
* Creates new product information.
* Writes new content to enhance product descriptions and associated data fields.
* Stays up to date with the latest product experience trends and recommends improvements to strategy.
* Monitors product experience 'leaders' and benchmarks performance.
* Defines and cleans product data to ensure it is stored in an appropriate and consistent format.
* Determines data rules and specifies which data sources take priority.
* Ensures the accuracy of any technical and usage data.
* Managed a vast library of product media files including images, videos, and other associated documents.
* Classifies products and associates them with one or several product catalogues.
* Manages the completeness of product data channels in line with product experience strategy.
* Maintains an up-to-date list of local codes on Erudus.
* Deals with queries from members relating to errors or missing product data.
* Ensures that member PIMs are updated regularly according to local product mapping.
* Ensures the safe and accurate transfer of media files throughout the PIM network via SFTP.
* Releases regular bulletins to members relating to PIM developments, new products, attributes, families, or other.
* Ensures that all work follows brand guidelines.
