To conduct inspection operations prior, during and after manufacturing operations according to job card and to ensure products and final release documentation is supplied to customer error free.

To ensure the highest level of quality control/inspection conditions are applied at all times during the manufacturing process, utilising preventative inspection measures wherever possible.

Responsibilities
To ensure correct practise and legalities with respect to product quality to customer requirements
To identify in good time any potential non-conformances
To ensure self and others are working in a safe and environmentally friendly manner
The effective implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, including KPI's where ownership is assigned

Specific Duties
To carry out first-off, in process and last off Inspection of detailed parts and assembles in a timely and efficient manor according to customer specification

Verify parts are correct to drawing requirements including the correct
orientation (hand)
Check any part mark details are correct as per job card and drawing
Verify that all previous operations have been completed (signed, dated and/or stamped)
Ensure all FAIR products are inspected for conformity during manufacturing at each operation with recorded dimensions
To follow specific customer quality requirements when required (the use of web based portals or specific documents/forms)
To promote the awareness that where errors occur they are detected as early as possible during the manufacturing process and not at final inspection stages
To ensure accurate and timely information and data is made available (when applicable) for Key Performance Indicators
To support Third Party audit activity when requested
To maintain Quality Records/documentation
To manage housekeeping and professional conduct
To assist in ascertaining root cause corrective / preventive action
To ensure all monitoring and measuring equipment has a current certificate of calibration
To use all test and inspection equipment to ascertain the validity of product
