AC PLC is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant or Assistant Accountant but with specific emphasis within bank reconciliation

We are looking for a tenacious individual who has 2 to 5 years' experience in a similar role that will enjoy working in a hardworking evolving team.

This is a temp role for 3 months initially, but could go on longer or even go perm for the right person.

Key Duties and Accountabilities
  • Support production of company's overseas accounts, and reporting requirements
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Expenses Processing
  • Bank payments/transfers
  • Responsible for bank reconciliations
  • Process invoices and expenses via Navision
  • Credit card processing and reconciliation
  • To identify opportunities to improve systems and processes within the Accounts Department and make recommendations as appropriate
  • Ad hoc duties as required
  • Provide cover for other accounts functions
  • To support the Quality and Health and Safety goals within the company

Requirements of the Role
  • 5 years' experience with bank recs
  • UK and Foreign Currencies
  • Dynamics Navision or SAP
  • Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Competent in using Accounting Software and MS Office applications
  • Ability to deal with a variety of daily issues and prioritise work
  • Strong analytical skills, able to interpret complex data
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
