About the role:

This role will be responsible for managing the relationships with internal customers and third-party providers of Internal and External Auditor services to support service levels, and maintain relationships.

This role works with both the Corporate Risk Manager and the Internal Audit Manager to enable timely and prioritised reporting to the business on controls, weaknesses, vulnerabilities, solutions and opportunities.

Key responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to achieving individual and team objectives whilst maintaining a commitment to work with and support the activities of all team members to create a single, harmonious, consistent and professional ARC service across the business
  • Be a point of contact for the business and external providers in relation Internal Audit and Risk Management, keeping track of all requests and escalations to ensure a timely resolution
  • Challenge issues of underperformance to drive the actions required to improve service and the experience for the customer and colleagues.
  • Establish an effective business relationship management approach with CITB colleagues, third party suppliers and partners.
  • Proactive management of risk, effective escalation & supporting teams to meet corporate standards
  • Work with business to influence senior stakeholders to work collaboratively to achieve business objectives
  • To provide regular information, reports and feedback to the Head of ARC, and other stakeholders as required, for the completion of regular service performance and operational reviews with both internal customers and third party providers
  • Follow up and report on audit recommendations to the business, third party providers and track performance

  • Educated to GCSE level A-C (including English and Maths)
  • Experience of working in a data driven environment
  • Experience of probing data to produce reports and inform decision making Role Profile
  • Good, all round understanding of the business environment
  • Able to understand and draw opinions from a range of formal documents, such as contracts, business plans, accounts and discussions
  • Good attention to detail with the ability to test data for accuracy
  • Good at using different IT systems with skills in being able to extract and report relevant information

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,665.00 to £36,119.00 /year
