Ordnance Survey has an opportunity available for a Product Manager to join us based at our Headquarters in Southampton. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of circa £45,000 per annum, plus benefits.

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team. You will lead the definition and delivery of product and service roadmaps and user-centric propositions, balancing market demand, technical feasibility and affordability for OS with a focus on great user experience.

Your role will also include defining the roadmap and propositions for our customers with a focus on user centred design and engaging with customers, partners and external stakeholders, representing users throughout the delivery process and using their feedback to inform continuous improvement.

What we are looking for in our Product Manager:

- Previous experience as a Product Manager with potentially some experience of data platform management

- May have a background in one or more of product pricing, software engineering, API design and delivery

- User focus and experience knowledge

- Good knowledge of product lifecycle and product roadmap management

- Experience of stakeholder management

- Very good knowledge of product ownership and management

- Very good experience of agile working methodology

- Experience of data platform management

- Knowledge of operational management

- Knowledge of software engineering

- Knowledge of data science
