Agile Delivery Manager required with proven skills in managing Agile software delivery / project delivery across multiple internal cross functional teams (current 4 teams) as well as interfacing with customers to ensure the delivery of the core software product and customer specific requirements utilising appropriate delivery approaches (Scrum / Kanban / Lean) evolving agile approaches for these teams, iterating, and working closely with product to ensure their vision and requirements are delivered to customers is required by fast growing scale up with in Cambridge to work on their cutting edge digital software which helps to optimise renewal energy generation and has a strong ethical credentials.

Circa £65-70k + Bens + Stock

As an Agile Delivery Manager you will have skills in some of
  • You are experienced Agile Delivery Manager / Agile Project Manager managing software product delivery across multiple cross-functional teams
  • You will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in software delivery with technical teams to ensure timely delivery managing risks and dependencies
  • Extensive experience delivering successful software products to customers and stakeholder management within a high growth and fast paced environment
  • Proven experience of scrum mastering or coaching multiple teams in an agile environment
  • You are confident in facilitation or training using agile techniques
  • You have a servant leader style and can encourage and motivate teams to delivery and understand the power of teams and that a happy and collaborative team will produce amazing results
  • Understand the importance of delivery data and analytics for establishing clarity

Key elements of the role of Agile Delivery Manager would include
  • Manage cross-team delivery projects and setting up mechanisms to identify, manage and mitigate risks and dependencies
  • Provide the delivery management interface to customer project teams to assure delivery, risk and expectation management
  • Work as part of a collaborative team of product owners, account management, component technical leads, architects and technology management
  • Provide visibility of deliverables to stakeholders and the wider team
  • Establish clear metrics for agile process productivity and delivery metrics as required internally and as part of customer delivery projects
  • Use your servant leader skills to help teams and individuals collaborate and communicate in effective and sustainable ways
  • Plan and facilitate collaborative agile planning sessions to help set realistic expectations for cross-team projects
  • Contribute to forming the company's agile processes: metrics, measurements, release processes, dependencies
  • Support teams in using relevant agile frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Identify where a coaching or mentoring approach is required and apply these techniques to guide teams and individuals to adopting an agile mindset
  • Guide teams to reflect and identify improvements and successfully embed new approaches that move them towards high performance
  • Identify frequently occurring technical blockers, and work with teams and product managers to get them resolved.
  • Create the right agile environment and help the teams self-organise through a culture of learning and transparency

The technology involved is highly complex distributed systems using technologies such as on Java, AWS, Microservices, Kubernetes, messaging systems Data Science.
