We are currently recruiting for the highly prestigious position of Key Account Manager, this is a position with National coverage, working with key hospital/NHS accounts across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

To drive new and existing opportunities and commercial relations for my client as the leading provider in hearing instrument and wireless connectivity on the NHS contract. Broadening the leadership position in the UK market and providing new revenue opportunities. To be the face of the company in the NHS, driving valued relationships that build long-term business and advocacy.
  • To manage target key accounts and other KOLs as identified by sales management.
  • KOL identification, mapping and development.
  • Influence and shape KOL opinion and policies to create opportunities for the current and future product portfolio.
  • Work closely with Trust decision makers to find sustainable mechanisms for on-going volume where budgetary constraints present difficulty.
  • Co-ordinate the production of business case studies which outline successful partnership initiatives to demonstrate with new accounts.
  • Critical understanding of pricing, reimbursement and market access.
  • Identify new opportunities for working with departments and lead development activity with the RSM and sales managers.
  • Support the achievement of team sales targets.
  • Attend regular sales and business meetings with the team.
  • Attend trade shows and industry exhibitions throughout the year.
  • Provide up to date and relevant correspondence to customers in line with sales and marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager on rebate and contract opportunities.
  • Manage account contracts and commercial agreements (hospitals and buying groups).
  • Develop customer growth and retention opportunities.

The successful applicant will have strong commercial capabilities and a grounded understanding of the NHS, ideally you will have a proven track record in key account management, commercial experience within the medical or hearing industry would be advantageous. We are looking for ambitious, career-driven professionals with a high commercial desire and aptitude to drive business growth; this will require self-motivation coupled with the ability to effectively work on one's own initiative.
